Snowball Tournament – Ryan Larson Memorial Tournament

A fun March weekend is spent running around a reduced base line in upwards of 3 feet of snow.

A total of 8 teams compete during the two days of competition. Each team must have 11 to 18 players, of which 4 must be members of the opposite sex. Children team members must be at least 16 years of age and have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian.

Special snowball equipment like fish nets or bird nets are allowed to assist those in the outfield catch the ball before it disappears into the snow.

Brightly coloured balls are used to assist players trying to “find” the ball in the snow.

The play is not stopped if Mother Nature decides to create a blizzard, wind storm or make the temperature drop below -25°C.
